Ismail Ali Manik is a highly experienced public finance and economic policy expert with over 25 years of experience across government, multilateral institutions, and advisory roles. He has served as Minister of State for Finance in the Maldives and held key leadership positions including Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Finance.

Internationally, he served as Board Executive Director at the Islamic Development Bank, working closely with global financial institutions such as the World Bank and IMF.
