Leadership Profile

Sujatha Haleem is a highly accomplished executive with over 22 years of leadership experience in financial management, governance, strategic planning, and institutional development. She previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Maldives Pension Administration Office, where she led key national pension and social protection reforms and played an instrumental role in modernizing and strengthening the Maldives’ pension system.

Over the course of her distinguished career, Sujatha has worked extensively with government institutions, regulatory bodies, international organizations, and senior stakeholders on governance, policy development, financial oversight, and institutional transformation initiatives. Her expertise spans strategic leadership, investment governance, stakeholder engagement, organizational development, and public sector reform.

Sujatha currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Bison Group, where she oversees operational strategy, governance, and organizational performance across the Group. She also serves on the Advisory Board of the Maldives Association of Finance Industry (MAFI), contributing to industry dialogue and the advancement of the financial sector in the Maldives.

She continues to contribute actively to governance, financial sector development, and social protection initiatives at both national and international levels.
